And the easiest way to do this is to make use of the community around them through public readings and lectures. We go to workshops for feedback and we can get so much more immediate response to what's working and not working.

Plus, if ever there was a community tailor-made to fill seats at regularly scheduled readings, it's Iowa City. So, again I applaud Sam Chang's intentions.TJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13088461995698326658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10113687.post-1138550636585705002006-01-29T08:03:00.000-08:002006-01-29T08:03:00.000-08:00Very cool. As someone who came from a program that seemed to be more involved with the community, one of my few criticisms of Iowa (valid or invalid, depending on your p.o.v.) has just been crossed off the list.TJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13088461995698326658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10113687.post-1138492550329257952006-01-28T15:55:00.000-08:002006-01-28T15:55:00.000-08:00Awesome idea!Awesome idea!SERhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12373736323966370971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10113687.post-1138491437102467622006-01-28T15:37:00.000-08:002006-01-28T15:37:00.000-08:00i love it too. what a great way to start making ch...i love it too. what a great way to start making changes--community involvement, access to faculty. nothing too scary for anyone--just good.Michelle Falkoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14588921921027178995noreply@blogger.com
