Man, Nam Le's book
The Boat is getting a heck of a lot of attention. Now it's the lead review in the NYTBR. Hari Kunzru's
review itself is both positive and critical, ruminating on the perils of "ethnic lit" and concluding: "Le is starting to grapple with the subtleties of authenticity, but one comes away feeling that it’s not really his subject, that he has a future as a very different kind of writer." Anyone here read it? By the way, way to go Nam.
