There was a story in the Post last week about the Obama family visiting the Lincoln Memorial. The younger daughter, Sasha, read the snip from Lincoln's second inaugural that's on the wall there ("With malice toward none . . .") and asked if Obama would have to give a similar speech. Obama quoted her response to the press: "And then Malia says, 'First African American president -- it better be good.'"
