The Onion doesn't cease, doesn't desist
In an email, occasional commenter "Chummy" points us to this delightful magazine cover, courtesy of The Onion, which was recently asked by White House lawyers (Harriet Miers?) to stop using the presidential seal.
LOL, Grendel, the pic and headline are just priceless.
I'm pretty sure The O can ignore that cease and desist -- the Presidential Seal should be public domain. It would be like the White House telling them they couldn't use images of the flag.
Besides, all they will do is make a more embarrassing version of it, with a chimp in the middle or something.
