DFW feature in Rolling Stone
David Lipsky's absolutely terrific piece on what happened to David Foster Wallace is available online, in case you haven't bought your souvenir Obama-on-the-cover copy. I bought it in the airport, read it, walked right back to the store and bought Infinite Jest (I had wanted to start with Broom of the System, but no dice).

When I read that article, I ended up sobbing. So be careful about reading it in public.
Infinite Jest is way better than Broom of the System (though the latter has its merits).

yes, when I got to the end, my eyes were stinging and there was a lump in my throat.
I've been avoiding this article all week until now. I'm right back where I was six weeks ago. So depressing.
